General Meeting was held on February 19, 2020 with satisfactory attendants
and power of attorney. All agenda items were approved at the meeting.
This year, the PCCIJ aims to
utilize more digital tools in increasing its digital presence, reaching out to
potential new members and enabling its members and officers to participate in
PCCIJ events and meetings. We will also provide a digital platform for its
members to access digital content as well as to share and promote their
corporate services and products.
We will make
our best effort to establish closer ties between the Philippines and Japan,
focusing not only on Japanese companies but also Philippine companies who are
interested in conducting business in Japan for the future.

Last February 21, the PCCIJ, with the help of DTI Tokyo Ms. Dita Angara Mathay, hosted the networking event with the South Luzon Chapter of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce (PCCI). The event was held at the Philippine Embassy Siazon Hall.
More than 50 corporate members of PCCI South Luzon led by PCCI Vice President Teresita M. Leabres attended the event with about 35 corporate members and guests joining from the PCCIJ.
The event was an outstanding success and PCCIJ hopes to hold similar events in the future.
